Lorie

Lorie has worked extensively in community, rehabilitation and residential care settings with clients with a wide range of disabilities, providing assessment and therapy to both paediatric and adult clients, and delivering best-practice interventions for communication, swallowing and cognitive-communication impairments.

Lorie emphasises the importance of person-centred care by helping her clients achieve goals that are meaningful to them, working collaboratively with clients and their families and carers to build functional communication skills, overcome swallowing deficits, and maximise their ability to engage in daily life.
