Marco

Marco has been working with clients with mental and physical disability in a multidisciplinary team for over 10 years.

He holds a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney and has since worked across acute, rehabilitation and geriatric settings in a major mental health hospital in Sydney.

Marco is a great asset to the team when servicing a wider range of clients who require a thorough understanding of the intricacy of managing physical and mental health disability. He has extensive experience in functional assessment and management of people with severe mental health disability and cognitive impairments.

Marco excels at using his exceptional clinical skills in functional assessment, retraining and equipment prescription to help clients regain their independence in the community — incorporating sensory modulation and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to support clients with anxiety and behavioural management as part of rehabilitation for people with complex physical and mental health disabilities. He has developed a range of educational programs including falls prevention, daily living skills, smoking cessation, drug and alcohol, and mindfulness programs.

Marco has a passion for engaging clients in developing client-focused therapeutic programs that help clients and their carers create a fulfilling and meaningful life.
