Lorie has worked extensively in the community, rehabilitation, and residential care settings with clients with a wide range of disabilities. Lorie provides assessment and therapy to both paediatric and adult clients. She delivers best practice interventions for communication, swallowing and cognitive-communication impairments.

Lorie emphasises the importance of person-centered care by helping her clients achieve goals that are meaningful to them. She works collaboratively with clients and their families/carers to build functional communication skills, overcome swallowing deficits and maximise their ability to engage in daily life.
