Maya completed her Bachelor of Science with Honours in Human Kinetics in Canada. She then moved to Australia where she completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy Studies at University of Queensland.

Maya has worked in the community and rehabilitation settings with clients that have a range of disabilities within the paediatric and adult populations, primarily in the private sector. She understands the importance of developing a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients and their families to achieve their goals so they can become more independent within their daily lives. Maya is passionate about using best practice interventions and current research based evidence to create client success.

As an enthusiastic occupational therapist, Maya enjoys learning new techniques and gaining new skillsets to assist and support her clients participate in their meaningful activities
